Jimmy Fingers’ lifetime of magic started in grade school when he was doing yo–yo contests and playing sports. He always had a knack for dexterity and manipulation, and magic was no exception.
Jimmy’s special ability to do improvisational comedy material on stage, coupled with his talent for designing magic and illusions, made him a formidable force in front of an audience. He began work on his own levitation ideas, and in the early 2000’s, he created what would become the Magellan Master Levitation, now regarded as the greatest self–levitation in magic. In 2010, Jimmy was invited by internationally acclaimed star of magic Jeff McBride to present the Magellan Master Levitation at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. Jimmy also brought his entire act, a collection of unknown, original magic pieces that nobody had ever heard of, and proceeded to shock Jeff, original trick after trick.
The following night, there was a packed room watching what the Las Vegas Weekly called “the highlight of the World Magic Seminar.” It was the show of a lifetime for Jimmy, and he thrilled a room of convention attendees, hugely influential magic innovators and scholars of the craft. With that breakthrough performance, Jimmy became the “overnight success” that one hears of constantly in show business.
Currently, Jimmy travels extensively, lecturing and teaching other magicians about magic, creativity, ethics and his original mind reading techniques.
